The ideal massage frequency depends on your goals, lifestyle, and any existing pain or tension. Here’s a general guideline:
For General Relaxation & Stress Relief – A massage once a month helps maintain overall well-being, reduce stress, and prevent muscle tension from building up.
For Muscle Recovery & Athletic Performance – If you’re highly active or an athlete, every 1–2 weeks can aid recovery, improve flexibility, and reduce soreness.
For Chronic Pain or Injury Rehab – If you’re recovering from an injury or managing chronic pain, weekly or bi-weekly sessions may be beneficial. Your therapist can adjust frequency based on progress.
For High-Stress or Physically Demanding Jobs – Those with physically demanding jobs or high stress levels may benefit from bi-weekly or monthly sessions to prevent tension-related discomfort.
Consistency is key, but individual needs vary. A registered massage therapist can help determine the best frequency based on your body’s response and goals.
