Key Responsibilities
Comprehensive Assessments & Personalized Care Plans
- Conduct thorough physiotherapy assessments to identify patient needs, goals, and functional limitations.
- Create evidence-based, individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique journey to recovery.
- Deliver high-quality care using a combination of manual therapy techniques, targeted exercise prescription, and adjunct modalities to support healing and optimize function.
- Provide clear, compassionate education to help clients understand their condition and feel confident in their rehab process.
- Encourage active participation and self-management strategies for long-term success.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical notes using our EMR system (Jane).
- Uphold professional standards in all aspects of client care, treatment planning, and progress reporting.
- Work collaboratively with the physiotherapy team to support patient care.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the clinic’s goals.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanour with patients and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Licensed (or soon-to-be licensed) Physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta
- Strong communicator who enjoys working with others
- Passion for evidence-based, patient-centred care
- Self-motivated with an interest in building a consistent caseload
- Open to mentorship, learning, and contributing to team culture
- Bonus: interest or experience in pelvic health, vestibular, concussion rehab, or sport therapy
