Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated, dynamic, and reliable Admin with the ability to flex into the Physiotherapy Aide role to join our front desk team! Your enthusiasm, reliability, and attention to detail will contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our clinic.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
- Handle patient check-ins and check-outs.
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries.
- tend to faxes, emails, update referrals and/or imaging
- Assist physiotherapists with patient treatments and exercises.
- Prepare patients for therapy sessions and ensure their comfort.
- Provide patients with guidance on exercise techniques and usage of equipment.
- Ensure treatment areas are clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Clean and disinfect equipment and treatment rooms after each use.
- Manage inventory of supplies and report any shortages.
- Communicate effectively with physiotherapists, patients, and other staff members.
- Provide clear instructions to patients regarding exercises and treatment plans.
- Address patient concerns and relay information to the physiotherapist as needed.
- Work collaboratively with the physiotherapy team to support patient care.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the clinic’s goals.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanour with patients and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in healthcare management software (Jane) and MS Office.
- Knowledge of billing and insurance processes in a healthcare setting.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field is beneficial but not required
